A panel discussion will bring activists together to address the power, controversy and effectiveness of divestment as a tool for economic activism in different movements: the movement against apartheid in South Africa, the struggle for Palestinian rights, the global movement to avert the climate crisis. Harris at the State March Against Police Brutality on October 22, demanding that she prosecute Miguel Masso for the murder of Alan Blueford. Since then, she has responded by refusing to reopen the investigation. Join in a statewide campaign to demand that Attorney General Harris do her job and investigate citizen deaths.
