    Pub date December 5, 2012

Our 2012 winter fashion spread last week highlighted winter fashion: people-style. Now it’s time for our four-legged friends to show off their looks.

Enter our best-dressed pet contest and you could win some seriously awesome prizes!

We’re talking tickets to the Academy of Sciences and their ‘Tis the Season for Science exhibit as well as a gift certificate to K-9 Playtime – AND we will print a selection of the cutest photos in the December 19 issue of the Guardian! But really, who doesn’t enjoy pets in clothes or costumes? Everyone’s a winner here.

Post photos of your furry friends and scaly sidekicks in their finest winter wear to the Guardian’s Facebook page by December 14. Winners will be chosen based on the most “likes” the entries get. (Refer to the above image gallery for inspiration.)

And for all of the animal lovers out there, be sure to check out ‘Tis the Season for Science, ongoing at the Academy of Sciences until January 6. Share the wonder of winter, and see the amazing ways animals adapt to the season with live reindeer, indoor snow flurries, and more!
