The loaded title of Douglas Gordon and Philippe Parreno’s Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait promises a rendering of the iconic and volcanic footballer and of the century in which we reside. This Friday, Gordon and Parreno’s one-of-a-kind film begins a return engagement at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
