A.C.T. presents a one-night-only all-star presentation of 8 – the landmark marriage equality play about Proposition 8. Written by Dustin Lance Black, the Academy Award–winning screenwriter of Milk, this exciting event features Black, as well as Luke Macfarlane and Patricia Wettig (TV’s Brothers & Sisters), Holland Taylor (TV’s Two and a Half Men), Neil Giuliano (CEO of SF AIDS Foundation), legendary LGBT activist Cleve Jones, Jonathan Moscone (artistic director of Cal Shakes), John A. Pérez (Speaker of the Assembly), and many more.
Proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Equal Rights and LGBTQ youth participating in A.C.T.’s ACTsmart education programs. Tickets are available here or by calling (415) 749-2228.
