PROMO: San Francisco Street Food Festival

Pub date August 4, 2014

La Cocina’s San Francisco Street Food Festival on Saturday, August 16th, is a celebration of community, culture and entrepreneurial spirit.  Where micro-entrepreneurs and informal food vendors cook next to James Beard Award winners and Michelin-starred chefs.  Where every block is a barbacoa to bhelpuri to banh mi exploration of flavor (although probably not all at once), all on the same street, and all at the same price.  Located in San Francisco’s Mission District, the festival showcases the best of the Bay Area’s local food entrepreneurs and restaurants.  The event is hosted by La Cocina, a non-profit kitchen working to formalize food businesses for low-income and immigrant food entrepreneurs.  Visit sfstreetfoodfest.com for more information and purchase a passport for extra drink tokens and savings on 8/16!
