Pub date February 6, 2013

Starting tomorrow, Thur/7, SF IndieFest will begin celebrating their Quinceañera with films, parties, premieres, guests, and you! The festival lineup includes a series of films with a coming-of-age theme, starting with our opening night film, the US Premiere of Michel Gondry’s The We and the I with DJs, live music, an open bar and, a birthday cake to follow.

Festival festivities include: 10th Annual Big Lebowski Party, IndieFest’s Anti-Valentines Day Power Ballad sing-a-long, and the annual IndieFest Roller Disco Party.

And then there’re the films. Over 40 programs of new amazing films like Days of Grace, a poetic and violent film about drugs and kidnapping from Mexico. From Italy there is The Legend of Kaspar Hsuser featuring Vincent Gallo in dual rolls. Documentaries like Iceberg slim: Portrait of a Pimp and The Life and Times Paul the Psychic Octopus sound intriguing just by their titles. And, need it be said, much more!
